SHANE MORGAN BIOGRAPHY
Shane hails from the picturesque village of Rostrevor in County Down where he began his professional career at the tender
age of 13. After winning the coveted 'Pepsi Junior Talent Competition', many TV solo vocal performances ensued including;
'The Kelly Show'(UTV), 'Young Champions'(BBC), 'Go for it'(BBC/RTE), 'Your On'(UTV) and 'The Late Late Show'(RTE).
Shane studied Drama at De Montfort University in Bedford and his theatre credits include: Beast in 'Beauty and the Beast',
Stine in 'City of Angels, John Tallentire in 'The Hired Man', Malcolm/Marty in 'The Full Monty, Balladeer in 'Assassins',
Brendan Carey in 'Seagulls Dance' Prince in 'Sleeping Beauty', Jack in 'Jack and the Beanstalk' Aladdin in 'Aladdin', Pat-John
in 'Celtic Heartbeat' and Zany in 'Boogie Nights'.
His film credits include Guggy in 'Apollo Music Club', Suitor in 'Becoming Jane', Choreographer in 'Whatever Love means',
Murray in 'Mortimer' and Joyce in 'Night' and Michael Randall in 'Elau' which will be aired on TG4 later this year.
In his earlier career Shane toured Germany and the UK as lead singer of pop boy/girl band 'Red Alert' later to be know as
'Krave', supporting bands such as; 5IVE, Atomic Kitten and Scooch.
Shane recently returned home after touring the world onboard Cunard's Queen Victoria Ocean liner, on which he performed
as lead Singer/Actor in several production shows.
Shane's debut solo album is due for release in July 2011 and he is delighted to be part of the fantastic cast and crew of 'The
Pajama Game'.
